Purchase Suggestions
    We encourage input from our community and all suggestions are important to us. The decision to add a suggested item to the Library’s collection is based on its availability, cost, and the Ontario City Library’s Materials Selection Policy.

Accelerated Reader Book Finder
    The Accelerated Reading program is designed to encourage young children to read more frequently and to establish lifelong patterns of daily reading. Use this site to find the AR reading level of books your child might like to read and the corresponding AR point value.

    Lexile measures help you find reading materials at your child's unique reading level. With Lexile measures, you can engage your child in learning by ensuring they comprehend their reading materials, as well as monitor their progress over time.

    Learn how to do almost anything using Lynda’s more than 6,500 video based tutorials featuring online courses taught by notable educators. Topics range from graphic design, music and photography to computers, science, business and education. Welcome to our free public university! Ontario City Library card required.

Newspaper Index
    Search Ontario City Library newspaper index to locate newspaper articles, obituaries, and other items published in local Ontario area newspapers. This index provides newspaper name, article title, date and page number information for locating articles on newspaper microfilm (located in the library). This index dates back to 1884 and current issues of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin continue to be indexed. Search the artifact index to find interesting paper materials such as brochures, invitations, announcements, letters, stationery, and miscellaneous artifacts such as wine bottles, plaques, trophies, and other items belonging to the Model Colony History Room’s collections. Check back often, the artifact index will continue to have updated information and records as they are entered.
